Snowmobiling in Gladwin County
The Gladwin County Recreation Area and Tittabawassee State Forest offer plenty of opportunity for hunting, snowmobiling, hiking, biking, golfing, skiing, and snowboarding. This area also includes a large 35,000 acre game preserve.


Gladwin County Waterways
Gladwin County's waterways and recreation areas on the Tittabawassee, Sugar, Tobacco and Cedar Rivers create over 450 miles of opportunities for fishing, boating, canoeing and sightseeing.


Tobacco River
Gladwin County was, at one time, an important logging center. Now the popular state forest wilderness, and numerous lakes and streams, attact sportsmen and vacationers alike.
